"Very mediocre. Rooms are ROUGH for the price - walls patched everywhere, bed is just a cheap frame, tacky tile and flimsy plastic curtain in tiny bathroom. Zero vibe - hotel staff just want to process you through their system and offer no helpful suggestions or friendly greeting."

"This property was more run down than I expected for the price we paid. Room smelled a bit of mildew. One of the sinks didn’t drain. There was no top sheet on the beds, just a fitted sheet and a thin blanket. Security at front door felt safe. Lobby is on 2nd floor, desk staff were friendly. Location was good for getting in to Old San Juan by Uber or car, a little too far to walk."

"I had a fantastic stay at 150 Calle del Sol. The building has the beauty of San Juan Antiguo and the host was excellent with their communication. The room was quaint and very clean. Plenty of towels and cold A/C. Bathroom is a little tight, but to be expected in a centuries old building. The location was fantastic and close to lots do do around OSJ. You may want to consider ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper because you’ll hear the coqui frogs for sure, but I thought it added to its charm. Also, the curtains don’t overlap, so morning let sun in the room. Not everyone’s ideal. Thankfully, I had used a binder clip to hold charging cables, and used that to keep the curtains overlapping and keep the room dark in the mornings. "

"Breakfast on the roof was super delicious! Disappointed the pool was being renovated as that would have been nice after a very long day of traveling. This was our second stay and would stay again."

"Check in process was easy other than the fact that your check in information was hidden with your deposit information. It wasn’t sent separately. My stay was a little disappointing because I was promised a few amenities that weren’t in my room. I booked the standard room, same as my friends but my room looked nothing like theirs. I think the hotel was under renovation which was fine, but I should’ve been discounted because what was promised was not given. False advertisement. "
