"Unfortunately, my stay here was not the best. I’ve stayed at other Sonesta’s and this property just did not measure up with the others. Let me begin by saying the check in process was smooth and staff were nice. Some things were not in their control — the hotel was flooded with people for the college basketball games. That’s all well and it did not bother me. However, the groups that were there basically took over all the restaurants, lobby, and personal space like they were the only guests. I had to repeatedly ask another guest who was on the phone talking loudly to kindly step away from my personal space twice — any closer he would’ve been on my lap. Along with few others who just had too much to drink. Extremely loud atmosphere. Had I known that the groups would be staying here, I’d pick a different property - my fault for not doing more research on the most popular week of March. Second, because of these large groups, it took several minutes and passed elevators for me to get to my 23rd floor. Everyone trying to jam in and then once I finally got an elevator, there was a stop at almost every floor. Needless to say, we were squished like sardines in the elevator and it took much longer to get up to your room than usual. Once I checked into my room, the floor felt sandy, there was hair in the bathroom sink, and the shelves had a ton of dust. Overall just felt like it had not been cleaned well. Not typical for Sonesta. Very disappointed. "

"Everything was great as usual but the first morning the maid just barged in to our room at 830 in the morning and found us in a state of undress. Was not happy about that. "

"Travel with teenage daughter to attend a training nearby. The hotel is nice as is the staff however this is not really a place for anything to do for teens. All food entertainment etc is within casino with exception of high end steakhouse. Again great place for adults but consider looking elsewhere if traveling with kids "

"This was a great place to stay while on a business trip. I didn’t spend much time in the place itself between my conference and exploring Philly, but for that purpose it was great. The location was central to so much and I could walk or take a short drive to most places. It is across from a gas station which brings its own population but otherwise felt safe within the building itself. Overall the place was nice inside. I think overall the complex and apartment could have been a little cleaner (dusty, crumbs on floor, lots of scuffs on the walls, a smell that wasn’t unpleasant but likely used to cover past animal smells). The bed was comfy and sheets all clean with extra blankets and towels if needed. I had everything I needed for a short stay. The iron was dirty with something sticky which almost ruined a nice shirt of mine but thankfully I caught it as it touched the shirt. I was able to rub out the mark and dry the shirt to press it. Having a washed dryer was a plus for sure. Correspondence was quick and attentive. Overall a good stay. "

"Its location is perfect "

"This was the perfect place for my group and our needs. Enough beds with options; a dark, quiet room in the basement, a shared room with a two full beds, the top floor king size suite, even a pull out sofa! All useful accommodations for a party of 5 or more. To top it off, the roof top hot tub with a city skyline view was incredible! It was a great location too, in walking distance to our venue in South Philly. Everything worked out perfectly, and I'm grateful that this option was available. Thank you!"
