"I love this resort and this was our second trip as a group. Understanding they are still getting back to where they were before with staff was expected, but a few things were miscommunicated or not communicated. We were not told the island view was closing or we would have made it up on our trip before it closed for renovations because we loved it prior to Ian. Check in was easy and our room was ready early, we were allowed to change, and our bags were secured until we could check in so we could enjoy this beautiful resort. Trying to get housekeeping to get fresh towels, toilet paper, and trash removed from our room was miscommunicated by staff multiple times. One time with me going to the front desk, being told it was done, getting to the room, and it wasn’t done. We tried to be minimal with requests and swept our own room daily just to add less stress to staff with something so easy. The rooms are beautiful, we like the suites, and love our room above the bar to enjoy the music from our balcony. Even with the hiccups on this trip, I would still recommend this resort time and time again."
