"Another great stay at the Cabins of Mackinaw. This was our 3rd time staying here, clean cabin, friendly staff who remembered us from last made it a more personal touch. Within walking distance to the shops and ferry in Mackinaw City. Will definitely be back."

"Only issue I had was when I went to check out at 6 am there wasnt anyone at the front desk. And the doors where locked. Everything else was great."

"The room needed lots of repairs. Dark, dirty and dingy. The balcony door was broken. Moved the pillows on the bed and found garbage underneath. Not very well kept up. Breakfast was terrible. Very sketchy place. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone."

Bridge Vista Beach - Hotel & Convention Center

"Pros: The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Our room while a bit dated was clean and nice. There was no microwave in the room but there was a fridge. We had a lake front balcony room on the first floor. It was a beautiful view however to no fault of the hotels it was May and the Mayflies were so bad you could not dare to open the slider so we had to enjoy the view through it. So if you are going in May don't pay for the upgrade. Cons: We were with a school group so the "water park" was the draw. However it was not what I would consider a water park and it was not taken care of or clean. There was a lazy river that the kids went in that was alright although the paint was chipping. There at one time must have been a slide but it was gone and just the ladder structure was left behind which was covered in chipped paint. The pool that the slide would have emptied into was partially empty in the middle of the room but still had maybe a foot of standing dark green slug water in it that STUNK!! In fact the whole pool are smelled so bad like fish I refused to let my kids go in there the second day. The hot tub was not overly hot and the paint from inside was chipping so there was floating paint chips in it. I made everyone that went into the pool area take showers immediately following their time in there. I feel bad because the staff was so nice but I would only go back if I just needed a place to sleep quick. The amenities are lacking."

"We traveled as a family of three, including our 4-year-old, and overall had a comfortable stay. The hotel is located about 2–3 miles outside of downtown Charlevoix, making it a convenient and short drive to the downtown area and the beach. The interiors have a pleasant rustic, wooden charm. It appeared that renovations were recently completed or still ongoing, as there was a noticeable fresh paint smell, and some minor details, like handwritten room numbers, reflected that transition phase. Our room was spacious and cozy, especially with the fireplace, which added a nice touch. The bed, however, could have been more comfortable, something to consider improving for a better guest experience. Breakfast offered the usual options. As a vegetarian, my choices were somewhat limited. I would have appreciated more hot options, such as freshly prepared oatmeal, rather than only pre-packaged instant oats. That said, there were still basics like bread, fruit, and yogurt available. The staff was helpful throughout our stay, from check-in to housekeeping. While service was efficient, a bit more warmth and friendliness in interactions would have made the experience even more welcoming. Overall, the hotel is a solid and comfortable option, especially for families, if accommodations closer to downtown are fully booked."

"Any thing that need to be looked into is the beads. They are out dated. They need to change out for new ones. And was trying to take a bath but I couldn’t do it. I have to work a lot. Keep on running. The plug wasn’t completely sealed. And hot tub was not hot at all"

Best Western Plus Dockside Waterfront Inn

"This is a very dated property. While we were there they were making repairs, which is good, but they will never be able to change the architectural ugliness of the property itself, although adding a few trees/gardens to that ridiculously immense parking area would help. Room was OK, but they don't know how to properly make up a bed. Beach view is dirty (we were there off-season). Staff was friendly. Breakfast was minimal but in a very nice location"

"The hotel was a perfect blend of nostalgia while providing updated amenities. I would highly recommend it to others. The staff was personable and professional. Two opportunities would be our room had not mini fridge or microwave and the coffee maker was in the bathroom which was inconvenient. Lastly the toilet was very low to the floor and difficult for my wife and I."
