"Friendly staff, dust in the room"

"We noticed a very strong cigarette smell as soon as we entered the room — it was quite overwhelming. Unfortunately, my son was very tired and fell asleep immediately, so we didn’t request a room change. I had to sleep with the blanket over my head just to reduce the smell. There was also significant noise until around 11pm. I’m not sure if it was from construction or the elevator, but our room was right next to the elevator and the noise level was very disruptive. I’m usually not sensitive to noise, but it was loud enough to make it difficult to fall asleep. In addition, we found that the bottle of water provided in the room was already half-consumed. I checked with my son and he hadn’t touched it, which suggests it was left over from a previous guest and not replaced before our check-in. Overall, this was a disappointing experience in terms of cleanliness and comfort."

"The staff at the Study is top notch. We stay there often because our daughter is in college at U Penn. She was sick last week and I had to come and help her get through an important exam. Patrick, Kaitlyn and Marquis at the front desk went above and beyond to find a room for us that had a separate area to study for my daughter. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the staff is always welcoming with a smile. We are looking forward to staying there while visiting our daughter again, and having our family stay there as well when she graduates next May!"

"Our room was huge and the beds so comfortable. Everything was spotless. The only breakfast option was the coffee shop which wasn't very exciting, best to find a local diner."

"Construction everywhere on our floor. Room was filled with construction dust. Super noisy starting at 6am. Valet staff was fantastic but front desk was curt/rude. All restaurants and food options in house were closed. Overall underwhelming and disappointing for the price I paid. "

"This was the worst rooming experience I’ve ever experienced. The room was over 80 degrees hot, but the hotel staff locked the AC, saying that it is still winter and that we are not allowed to touch the AC. Nights were so hot that we could not sleep. I will never be returning to this hotel, nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone."
