"The host was super welcoming! The house is beautiful, comfortable and in a very nice neighborhood! It is very convenient to restaurants, shopping and Old Barn Winery. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were very roomy. We enjoyed the deer that would come around to the backyard. We would absolutely rent this house again! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved seeing snow!"

"Nice place, plenty of room. It was nice to hear the river at night. But the walk to the river demands paying attention. Game room is good for kids. Beds sleep good. Kitchen is well equipped. Hot tub is clean. Nice fire pit. Drive way demands paying attention as well. Good place especially if you wanted to fish."

"Such a great home for families to gather and also for family members and couples to have their own space. We loved the option of indoor and outdoor spaces. Also the location was great, so close to the quaint town of West Jefferson and only about an hour from Boone area snow activities, and Ferguson area Leatherwood Mountain for Horseback trail riding. Everyone commented on what a great find this wheelchair accessible home was, and being able to bring our dogs was also great!"

The rooms were lovely and cozy, a Christmas tree was already lit in the living room when we arrived, the outdoor scenery was beautiful, and the house was equipped with everything we needed to prepare our holiday meals for the week. We have already started discussing plans for our next trip to the cabin!"

"Beautiful place, better than pictured. And really great views too from the almost every room in the house but especially the living room and master bed. Super clean and very private. Hot tub and fire pit were great. Had a tiny issue with the fireplace and they sent someone out immediately to repair it. Great host, easy to deal with. "

"Fantastic week. Great home - the views are fabulous. Comfortable, cozy, and well stocked for guests. Close to town, yet very private. Lansing Creeper Trail is a good place for an easy walk. We went multiple times. Nice to see downtown Lansing coming back after the hurricane. West Jefferson downtown is full of great shopping and good food. Overall, this VRBO is an awesome choice. We will be back. "
