"Had to walk a long way to get to our room. Lift didn’t go to our corridor so 2 lots of stairs with luggage. Reception just pointed us to the lift without mentioning stairs. In our 70s. No porter or offer to help. Breakfast good but more stairs to get there and back. Room small. No view . No bath mat. No water. No extra blanket. One pillow. No phone. "

Some noise from the works across the road were noted at some points during the day, but we do appreciate the notice provided days before our arrival. The pillows were too soft and didn’t provide any neck support. Just outside the hotel (about 5 steps away from the main entrance) were some sketchy people. There was a man with his backpack on the ground who followed my husband too closely, making us feel unsafe in our first few hours in Oslo. From then on, I made sure I didn’t leave the hotel on my own when it was dark. "
