"Our stay at Hotel Villa del Sueño was absolutely lovely. It’s a beautiful, quaint hotel with charming South American décor and a warm, romantic ambiance — definitely ideal for couples. Our room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and check-in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were terrific, and many spoke English, which made everything seamless. The restaurant service was top-notch and the food was excellent. We enjoyed a wonderful three-course dinner with live music and dancing that made the evening feel truly special. A unique touch was the small jewelry display at the front desk — one of the owners actually drove over when she heard we were looking, just to share the story behind her pieces. We couldn’t resist and happily took a few home with us. The pool was clean and well kept (even though we didn’t use it much since we arrived late), and the location is fantastic — walkable to shopping and just five minutes from a beautiful beach. We wouldn’t hesitate to return."

"The host was very helpful in providing anything we wanted. She booked our excursion to zipline, raft and hot springs. She organized our driver for the week which made exploring very easy. The house was great, Maria the housekeeper was awesome. The only complaint was that the "hot tub" was not hot. The pool and jetted tub does not have heat. The kids didn't mind and there are so many beautiful beaches but would have been nice to have a nice soak under the stars."

"We had an amazing time at this residence. It was perfect. Incredibly spacious and the layout of the home was very nice. You cannot find a better location and right on the beach. The open floor plan and abundance of seating and dining was much appreciated with my large family. We are a family of 8 with six busy children and each person was able to have quiet time alone or lively commotion and the foose ball table probably was overheating from competitive use. I love cooking and the kitchen was set up with everything you need for preparing breakfast and dinner for a large party. The house rental comes with a housekeeper who made my vacation more enjoyable as she did an amazing job keeping things clean and in order so I felt like I could relax. The Main Street is just up the way with lots of restaurants and activities as well. I highly recommend this location to anyone who wants to enjoy a true getaway. The Host was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. Costa Rica is our new favorite place. "

"Incredible! The Villa and grounds were amazing!! So amazing that we took family photos right off the balcony, instead of on the beach as planned. The beds were so comfortable. The location was convenient for getting to the beach and into town without being right in the middle of it all. It was incredibly serene, to the point where we could sit on the balcony in the rocking chairs and hear the ocean waves in the early morning and evening when the town was calmed down. We rented golf carts, and it made zipping to the beach a quick 1-2 minute trip and into the main town area 3-4 min. We ordered groceries ahead of time through the Zindis group and everything was in the fridge or on the counter awaiting our arrival. The Zindis guys Edgar and Alex were amazing house managers and concierges! Anytime we had a question or needed anything, they were right there to help; in person, via text or by phone. The electricity fluctuates momentarily at times if the wind is blowing hard. This was not usually a problem, but we did have to have them show us how to reset the instant hot water heater, because it would reset to cool when the power went out. However, it was easy to reset and we would quickly have unlimited hot water again. Then there’s the pool! Ahhh! I’m not even a pool person, but it was so nice to hang out in the pool and watch the sun set over the ocean, leaning across the infinity edge. Our whole group of 8 had a glorious time, adults and kids! We will be back! "
