"I’d like to preface this by saying I don’t typically write reviews, but this stay warranted an exception. Hosteria Del Mar was a charming, older building with some interior upkeep needed, but that didn’t take away from its character or overall charm. The staff were absolutely accommodating and amazing! They were always friendly, greeted us with a smile, and the gentleman at the front desk was quite the jokester. They made us feel at home in every way possible. The hotel is home to Uvva Restaurant on the ground floor, overlooking Ocean Park Beach. Our room had the quintessential ocean view, and it did not disappoint. The hotel sits right on the shoreline, amplifying the sound of the waves crashing against the beach, which we could hear clearly from our room day and night. You simply couldn’t ask for better white noise. Despite the island’s humidity, the room’s air conditioning kept us perfectly comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel is located inside a gated neighborhood, making it incredibly peaceful. Just outside the gates, coffee shops, restaurants, and local shops were all within a 10–15 minute walk. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay and experience Puerto Rico. It was a wonderful experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"The weekender was exceptional!…highly recommended it! I celebrated my wifes bday there! The ballon package that said happy bday before we got there really made her smile! Make sure you get it! The place is new and in style! The pool is amazing and relieves your stress! The help from the staff makes you feel like a star! Everything is well kept! The downside is i wish i stayed more days there haha! Will come back! A must book!"
