"Honestly i was very anxious for my stay, i had seen that there were bad reviews but only after the fact that i already made reservations, surprisingly i had an awesome time, the manager was super nice and welcoming as well as all of the other employees, she did let me know of the warm water not working in the building i was staying in, none the less i wanted to stay in the room so id have a kitchen, the room exceeded my expectations, it was very clean, they had utensils, dish ware and cooking ware. the private water front was so beautiful especially at night. the balcony was a definite plus too. they did have complimentary breakfast with items like juice, coffee, cereal, breakfast bars and a few other things. my stay was very affordable. Although it’s mid summer in california the weather was perfect, unfortunately there was no ac, and as a person who gets very hot easily, i would say the ac was not needed, i’ll definitely be returning and would recommend checking this place out for your next stay up in big bear. there were many fun activities that i was able to do in my 2 night stay, there are many things that are at walking distance or a very short car ride away, id recommend going to the alpine slide, going out for a kayaking experience, and/or checking out a fun spot called gold rush mining adventure."

"Check in was quick, the rooms are perfectly what you would expect in a mountain town, clean, great views, everything is walking distance. This is right by the village and there was so much to do, so many shops, places to eat, places to drink, tattoo shops, we did it all. "

It was the perfect balance of nature and convenience.The cabin itself was cozy, inviting, and clean. It had that classic mountain charm with all the modern comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. Whether we were sipping coffee on the deck in the morning or enjoying a movie night on the couch, everything felt just right.Our host was absolutely wonderful—always responsive, kind, and accommodating. From booking to check-out, communication was seamless and thoughtful.We genuinely didn’t want to leave, and we’re already talking about when we can come back. This cabin is a true gem, and we’ll definitely be returning for another getaway soon!"

"Everything was great at this cabin. It was neat and clean from inside, but I think the outside could have got cleaned up just a bit overall it was great. Our only issue was checking Saturday. We had no hot water. but we didn’t know that until late Saturday night when we wanted to shower, it was freezing. Call them first thing in the morning, and the problem was resolved under an hour."
