"Room was clean and comfortable, well equipped and supplied. Location is amazing, right next to the beach. Perfect views Breakfast excellent, good quality and a huge choice. Best of all were the staff - all very welcoming and helpful, in a natural, non-corporate. Congrats to them all. Only downside was the room - number 15 - which has poor sound isolation from reception and bar. It has windows that are overlooked by the terrace so you have the noise and the lack of privacy following from that. I’ve given five stars because of the outstanding staff but I would only stay here again if I was sure to avoid that room."

"What a gem. The house is perfectly located for a short walk in to Sennen and with views across Whitesand/Gwynver. At the top of the road you are on the coastal path. House is very well stocked with everything you need. We will definitely be back! "

"This was our first experience staying in a self catering accommodation and it won’t be the last. We had everything needed to live comfortably. The view was amazing too. Jan came in to welcome us so gracefully on our first night and made us feel really welcome. The house was beautifully decorated and cozy, made us feel like we were home. "This is a small miner's cottage (probably) suitable for a couple and 2 kids -- decent double bedroom with adequate storage and smallish bedroom with two small singles at right angles. There's a sitting room downstairs with a couple of recliners, a sofa, TV, and a wood-stove (didn't need/use it); a small dining room, plus a kitchen with electric hob, electric kettle, sink (frig and microwave in side ante-room); and a bathroom with bath with electric-shower over, basin and toilet, and washing machine (didn't need/use). The plumbing is a bit primitive but everything works and the shower quite adequate, 3 electric radiators with thermostats keep the place warm and cosy, and the TV provides entertainment on rainy days. There's a small garden at the West-facing rear, with a chair or two and a washing line. I was given direct phone contact with the housekeeper (didn't need/use but very reassuring) and with the owner who was very helpful, and was keen to receive my feedback on a few minor quibbles that will probably be fixed on a next visit. Parking is outside front in terrace on a first-come, first-served basis, with overflow in the small Lafrowda car park at end of street (I always managed to find a spot). All in all a very functional, convenient, comfortable enough base for Coast Path walking and quick access to St Just shops/pubs and excellent cafes -- don't miss the DOG &RABBIT***** !"

"A perfect B&B with home made preserves and home baked bread at breakfast. Spotless and with the friendliest hosts. Large rooms and lovely bathroom. You can walk to everywhere from here, including the stunning Cape Cornwall. This is how it should be done 10/10."
