"I thought it was good that the hotel was near the airport. The hotel generally looked old and dingy, parking spaces are too small, tile trim falling off, shower curtain didn’t extend the length of the shower, the complimentary soap next to the sink was hard to wash off, the lanai furniture was old and felt dirty. We were located on the beach side 4th floor of the hotel and it was unappealing to see the roof below with the paint peeling. I understand that your hotel was sold out on the day we arrived and I’m not sure if the demand determines the price per night, but at $355 per night, I’ll probably go to an Airbnb next time."

"This was a nice, clean, comfortable condo in an older building with an exceptional view of the ocean, lagoon, and tropical plants! Everyone, guests, residents, the handyman, were so friendly and helpful. The host was quick to respond when we had trouble opening the lockbox for our keys. There is some noise from the park next door and the busy street, but it was not too bad. We liked the assigned parking spot. There was no a/c, but with fans and windows open, there was a nice cross breeze. The condo had everything we needed, a nice covered balcony, NO bugs, and a comfortable, yet firm bed. The bathroom is small, but fine. The second bedroom was nice to have to put our luggage and things in there. We didn't use the pool, but walked to the beach next door. We would definitely recommend and return!!"

"We've stayed at a few of these condo units and this one was exceptional as it faced the ocean and not the street (OUCH!) Well appointed, great soaps (you know we're not picky, just appreciative) paper plates in case you just don't want to clean and still plenty of kitchen equipment for me to make a decent meal!"

"This historic mansion is one of the most well stocked VRBOʻs I have stayed at. We did not have to buy any spices, plastic Ziplocks, foil, first aid kits, wrap ... just food and drinks. Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, you name it, they had it. Mosquito repellent and bug spray in case there was an unwelcome bug in the house. The property is clean, quiet and has lots of room for guests to sit and enjoy drinks and food. The two twin rooms do not have air conditioning but the ceiling fans made these rooms comfortable. All of the other rooms do have air conditioning. This rental was clean and welcoming, the host left snacks, coffee, tea and Emergen C next to the coffee maker. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. It was so nice to sit on the back lanai with our cups of coffee and tea and listen to the frogs and the rain. But it is Hawaiʻi so we saw an occasional B-52 here and there. This home is close to two of the most beautiful beaches ever, one is a 3 minute walk from the home. We had 12 people, two large vans and we very much enjoyed our week here. Highly recommend!"

"Spot check cleaning on window sill (insect carcasses) and dusty bedside lampshades. One of our friends was badly bitte on the main sofa while watching tv. Laundry machine dials need good a wipedown. Would have liked more coffee on hand, but we bought Kcups at the store. Otherwise, great rooms and decor! Mahalo for your convenient property to enjoy Merrie Monarch :)"

"Perfect for our larger group of four families. Location across from the beach is ideal. We enjoyed coffee on the large deck in the mornings while the kids went across the street to snorkel. The host was always available to answer any questions immediately. Highly recommend this location and host!"
