"The Bell Inn was gorgeous it would have received a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the staffing issues. Housekeeping had failed to turn up that day and they hadn’t realised until nearly checking time so we never got into our room until 5.45. The staff dealt with this delay professionally and we were served with complimentary drinks. This caused us a bit of an issue as we had to leave at 6.15 for a meal elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in this area."

Dog friendly holiday home with a hot tub - Green Farm

"We had a few issues with Green Farm but the main one, was it should have been cleaner than it was.Lots of cobwebs, nail cuttings on the lounge coffee table and uncleaned Barbecue.For the money we paid, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect salt and pepper, some tea and coffee and some shower gel in the 2 showers. Lastly for such a lovely property, the cheapest possible toilet paper was not acceptable either.These are small points that would have cost no more than 10 in total.In contrast the bed linen, was of the highest quality."

"Pros: Lovely room High quality accomodation Friendly staff at check in and in the health centre Cons: The balcony area could of been cleaned ready for our arrival -bird poo and cob webs everywhere. There was no mirror in the room apart from in the bathroom cabinet, therefore very difficult to dry and do my hair. Would really benefit from having a long mirror next to a plug point. The drinks and food at dinner took a very long time to arrive. The food was delicious but took a long time. No acknowledgement or reply when I told them we were staying for my husband's 40th birthday. Some. Acknowledgement would of been nice."

"This the second time that I stayed in this property. It is full of character… a bit like going back in time 100 years with a nice fire place … but with modern facilities like dishwasher and TV. Lechlade is a lovely place with nice pubs and walks by the Thames. So location is good too"

"Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful Shepard's hut with a spacious hot tub. Based in a lovely little village with a cosy pub round the corner, serving nice food. The hut was clean and has everything needed for a weekend's stay. Only slight issue was how short the bed was as we are both tall, but can't be helped too much with the size of the hut."

"The house is lovely, in a great setting, with lots of character and potential The house needs some TLC the kitchen needs an entire refurb and items around the house were broken (e.g., the back door, shutters, the dining table, and the downstairs toilet constantly refilling). One bed (the downstairs room) had hairs and some stones in it upon arrival."
