When I got back from dinner, I asked for the ice and he said he can’t leave to go get ice. There was a coffee machine in the room with cups only. No coffee, no tea no sugar or creamer. And be honest with you I felt that the floors were dirty and dusty. I hate to be this kind of review, but this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed at."

"This place is a gem! It’s a perfect place for large family gatherings, and the location is ideal. I loved sipping my coffee on the screened in porch every morning. The dining room, kitchen, porch, and ground-level areas accommodate 10 people comfortably. I also loved the old time charm and cool Knick knacks. Two things to keep in mind - if you’re traveling with someone who has mobility issues or you have more than 4 vehicles, this location is probably not a good fit. There are a lot of stairs and parking is limited. Lastly, we did have some issues with cleanliness and the host was very responsive and apologetic, and addressed our concerns appropriately. I would definitely stay again! "
