The husband picked us up at the airport and was ver informative about the area especially Ostia Antica. He recommended a great restaurant La Brace Dei Matti, excellent food and atmosphere. The location was fantastic—just a five-minute walk to a beautiful beach, with plenty of excellent restaurants and everything else we needed just minutes away on foot. The way to open the gate and apartment door was a little tricky to figure out at first but you get sent a link and then you press the door bell and click on the button to the door on your phone. This is an excellent, clean, and quiet hotel with helpful attendants. Check in attendant provided a map with detailed instructions of how to take the bus (COTRAL) to the airport for $1.30, including the times that matched our departure, and would also arrange a shuttle ($7.50pp) if that was what we preferred. I have seen reviews that are not correct. You can use a bus or a train to get around everywhere you want. (Just don't rent a car from Sixt [They will rip you off]). I used the 70 bus to the train station and in an hour you are at the airport, get the 24 or 48 hour pass that covers but the bus and train. If you still have to have a car, they have gated parking for you. The staff speaks English, some better than others. Housekeeping is the best, they do an excellent job, its shows that they care....

We stayed here 3 times during this trip to Italy and have reviewed it previously as well. Let me start with a shout out to Ash, a great bartender. All of the front desk staff are outstanding and it's difficult to single anyone out. They're ALL great. During breakfast, we wound up feeling like Felicia was family. We will absolutely use this hotel again and are genuinely looking forward to seeing our new friends again.
