The owner was always available and made our check in very easy. He answered all our questions and gave us tips on eating and getting around Rome. Room was modern and spotless. The breakfast and dining area was great. The neighbourhood was great for grocery and other shopping. Highly recommend staying hete.

The owner, Alex, was extremely helpful with directions to the property from the airport & to local places of interest. He gave very specific instructions for features of the property & also recommended an excellent local restaurant. We enjoyed our time in Rome!

Excellent value for an enjoyable stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Piccolotel - I had some work in Ostiense, a short bus trip or a 25 minute walk, past the fascinating Basilica of Saint Paul. The room is clean and a good size; there is access to a kitchen (which is stocked up for an Italian breakfast). The transport links are very good - I could get to the Trastevere area on the number 8 tram in about 20 minutes. There is a good place for a cold beer and burger on Via Enrico Fermi and other cafes nearby.

Convenient location for those not wanting to be in the downtown hustle. Quiet and safe. Make sure you have cash for the city tax though! Otherwise, clean room with cool air conditioning.

Alex was always reachable and very accommodating although he can be blunt when you’re bad with directions lol. The room was how it looked in the pictures but I wasn’t expecting the toilet/bidet to be in a separate room and the shower and sink to be in the room. There was quite a few ants that I found crawling on the floor and some mold on the shower walls but over all clean room.

Ein super Hotel , sauber und wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Der Inhaber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Konnten auch früher einchecken als angegeben, echt toll. direkt um die Ecke ist Papa Re sehr lecker und günstig.

Ho soggiornato per una notte presso il Piccolotel. Stanza dotata di ogni comfort, silenziosa e pulita, la struttura è dotata di un'area comune con tavolini, frigo e microonde in cui è possibile consumare snack e bevande offerte dalla struttura. Proprietario gentile e disponibile. L'area è ben servita da pullman e stazione ferroviaria. Consigliato!

Mi spiace per il titolare che ha provato ad essere gentile e a risolvere i vari problemi riscontrati in ogni modo, ma effettivamente abbiamo trovato delle difficoltà. Innanzitutto il lo considero un "affittacamere", non un b&b, visto che effettivamente è un appartamento con diverse camere occupate ed è giusto che chi prenota lo sappia. La colazione inclusa è disponibile solo per "chi prima arriva, prima alloggia", quindi dire inclusa non è propriamente corretto. Nella zona comune c'è una macchina del caffè e qualche brioche, ma se c'è qualcuno arriva prima, si rischia di non farla, per questo dico che dire inclusa è fuorviante, perché inclusa significa che dovrei averla a prescindere (consiglio: mettere due brioche in camera con una bevanda sarebbe stato più semplice). In camera era a disposizione una bottiglia con l'acqua di Roma che è vero che tutti sanno che è potabile, ma non mettere una bottiglia sigillata è un oltraggio, specialmente in tempi di covid, perché nessuno saprà mai da quanto tempo quella bottiglia è stata riempita e ovviamente tenerla così non il massimo onestamente. Nel bagno purtroppo, non essendoci una finestra, c'è molta umidità e gli asciugamani ne risentono parecchio. Il letto è molto comodo, camera e bagno puliti e il titolare è disponibile nei limiti del possibile ovviamente.

Assolutamente consigliato!

Hotel in posizione centrale, facile da trovare. Camere spaziose e pulite, bagno moderno e pulito. Aria condizionata ottima visto il caldo di questo periodo. Area colazione molto ben attrezzata con tutto il necessario. Alessandro è gentilissimo e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Ci ha dato delle ottime dritte per parcheggio e negozi, ma soprattutto per aperitivo, cena e dessert (cosa che abbiamo molto apprezzato!). Speriamo di tornare presto e stare per più giorni.

Best if staying City Centre not a must.

I stayed 5 nights total here. the place is a bit far from the city centre but it is convenient to take a bus to go and from the Centre in 15 min. The bus stop is just a few meters away. 10 min. walk from the train station to and from the airport. a safe environment as it is a local district. There is a supermarket next to it and the price of the products are really cheap. Comfortable places, self-served free snacks and drinks 24 hours, comfortable bed, spacious room. Reasonable quiet place despite it is the ground floor. with air-con. and Wifi. If you are looking for 24 hours bars and restaurants maybe it is not for you. Knowledgeable, kind and helpful owner/ operator Alex. Definitely will stay there again if I come to Rome in the future.

Diese Unterkunft war das Beste was uns passieren konnte, es war zentral genug um schnell in die Innenstadt zu gelangen. Selten habe ich einem Bett so gut geschlafen wie dort. Und Alex war super, er behandelte uns so als wären wir schon ganz lange befreundet, immer mit einem guten Tip , egal für was, zur Stelle. Auch kleine Pannen waren für ihn kein Problem, er schafft sie einfach aus der Welt. Nochmals Danke für das Bringen meines Telefons. Gerne kommen wir wieder, es ist fest geplant.

We had a great stay with my parents in the next room over. it was very secure with multiple doors to go through to get to your room. The room and common room was very clean.Great amenities available on-site: very comfortable bed with extra blankets/pillows. free wifi with lots of plugs by the desk and bedside. refrigerator/freezer in room. also has a safe and a desk. electric shutters on the windows. clean bathroom with overhead shower and separate sprayer. common kitchen/dining area is bright and cheerful again with automatic shutters. It is equipped with microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, refrigerator, dishes/cutlery and kettle. the breakfast items are open for you to take. Local supermarkets and bus stops within blocks. parking on the street available if you need, you need to be willing to circle around a bit to find a spot.

Alex is a fantatistic guy who gave us an overall guide to explore Roma, including how to get around the city by ways of transportation. He is efficient and friendly in explaining how to find the interesting sights such as Colosseum,Vatican City,St Peter's Basilica ,Sistine Chapel,Pantheon,Trinita Del Montithe, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Ditrevi, Piazza Navona, etc. He also shows us to find crusins in the city,. We highly recommend this hotel and him.
