"Although not requested, we were allocated an accessible room so the room was very spacious, which we appreciated, and the bed was clean and comfortable. I was impressed with the facilities and thoughtful touches to assist less able bodied guests. In the wet room shower room there was plenty of space and multiple rails and bars. I did find, however, that the hand basin was very close to the toilet, so much so that I had to awkwardly slip in sideways to use the toilet. It would have been nice...

"We stayed at the Birdham for a mini-break and were very pleased with our choice. It has been recently refurbished to a good standard and was very clean. The team were all very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. Bembridge itself is fairly small and quiet but it is easy to get to from the ferries and was also a good base for touring the island. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice place to stay for an Isle of Wight break."

"It's like going back in history to a fabulous bygone era, the hotel oozes charm. Had a great view from the room, looking out to sea. Good for the Ferry and Gun Wharf Quays. Wonderful breakfast in beautiful surroundings. I was very grateful for the prompt call from Reception, informing me I had left some items in the room, upon departure."
