"Hotel Staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very clean, the only problem in our room was the bath was very slippery and unsafe for our age group so we hardly made use of it. The breakfast was very very good with good choices."

"I had a single room with a sea view. It was a large room for a single, and the view of the bay was very good. However, it was a really hot few days and there was no air conditioning in the room and the windows had security features which prevented them from opening more than a few inches. An electric fan was provided that helped, but nonetheless it was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. The shower was practically useless with almost no pressure and therefore little more than a dribble of water, when it was desperately needed to cool down my body temperature. Breakfast was OK, but on my final day when I needed to leave for the airport early despite arriving at supposed opening time of 7am the service was NOT READY and I had to wait 10 minutes before I could grab a bowl of cereal and then despite cooked breakfast arriving fairly promptly after delayed order I didn't have enough time left to eat it. Hotel itself was clean and the staff were friendly. Checking in & out was efficient."

"We loved our stay at the Merton hotel. Child focused and very friendly. Excellent service and staff. Pool area was great and the breakfast was excellent. Brilliant and varied night entertainment. Good acts on for the adults and the young team who entertained the kids were very talented and really put everything into making sure they had fun."

"Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was clean, very comfortable, good air con. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, nice pastries, hot food, fruit etc. Location is great, next to the beach, short walk from lots of restaurants etc. Checkout was noon, which meant we could go to the beach and return to shower and pack. Minor quibbles: could use some more power sockets in the room. Shower was a little tight (over the bath) but clean and plenty of hot water. We knew about the maintenance work, which did not affect our stay except it blocked the sea view from the restaurant & bar."
