"Booked a room with a double bed, was given a twin room. Showed them my booking which specifically said double bed, but nothing was done to rectify this. No apology was given. There was a light which came on in the room throughout the night, had a terrible night's sleep. Images of the hotel online are very deceptive, room looked very dated. I would not recommend."

"The apartment was really nice, on two levels plus a nice balcony. Very clean too. Air conditioning, once we found it, was great. Beds were a little stiff but not too bad. Shower was perfect. They provided towels for body, face and bidet, which has been unusual for us. Pots and pans, three types of coffee cups and wine glasses. One coffee pod per guest and sugar are provided for the first day. The only suggestion I have is to add a small amount of basic spices. I had to buy salt to be able to cook some pasta :)"

"Great location, right between railway station and start of the walled town. In fact the Suites are part of the walls and a gate. Hotel Carlton is a basic business hotel. Bar is really a room with waiter service. Nobody else there when we had a nightcap. Room very clean but a bit plain - think a setting for a Hopper painting. Probably a bit pricey for what you get. Treviso is cute/pretty."

"Lovely hotel in the heart of this lovely town. It was a little hard to find but staff in a nearby cafe pointed out the entrance. The room was spotlessly clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was a nice coffee, fresh orange juice and croissant or toastie, which was fine for us."

"Clean, safe, roomy and at a convenient location. kitchen supplies, tv and wi fi are nice. However, quite noisy between the neighbors in the apartment and the noise on the street. Bring ear plugs if you want to sleep to a decent hour. Also, hot water in the shower runs out. Take your shower early! Written instructions at the apartment on how to use the coffee maker and washing machine (and that there is a drying rack for clothes in the luggage room because there is no dryer) would have been nice. We hung our wet clothes around the apartment because we didn’t find about the racks until the last day. Some paper towels, or napkins, more coffee pods (5 pods for 3 people over 3 days was not enough. Then you have to go to the grocery store, which didn’t have the exact same pods, and guess which ones to buy, if you are not familiar with that machine) Also a supply of clothes detergent for one or two loads of laundry would have been nice, as you must go and buy a whole bottle of detergent. Towels are thin and rough. A coffee table to place a drink or your feet on while sitting on the couch would have made it so much more comfortable. I think the noise is unavoidable, but with the few adjustments mentioned above, this apartment could be so much more convenient and comfy. These are easy fixes. "

"The hotel was beautiful- pristinely clean and well maintained. It was very conveniently situated near to Treviso with the city centre, railway and bus stations a 20 minute walk away or a €11 taxi ride. On site parking was a bonus and the hotel is situated conveniently for access to major roads. Staff were helpful and efficient - room was ready even though we arrived early. The room was spotless - cleaned every day and toiletries, water, coffees replenished. Must give a special mention to our cleaning lady who was very friendly and delightful as well as cleaning to a very high standard. The spa facilities were very good and we enjoyed a morning there when the weather was poor and felt rejuvenated after many days walking/ climbing in the mountains. Breakfast was offered in a generous time slot of 7am-10am and whilst busy was always good and varied, special dietary requirements seemed to be catered for with gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options available, if a little limited. Evening meal at the restaurant was absolutely superb - beautifully presented, served well and tasting delicious, very good value for money too. Thoroughly enjoyed, all round good experience and should I ever return to Treviso would book to stay again."
