"I will start with the bright spot. The bar in the steakhouse was great! The food was fantastic and the selection of bourbon was great. That is really the only good thing we experienced. Our room was very dated. We didn't have any form of soap in the bathroom, except for body wash. I had to go downstairs to get soap to wash our hands. We didn't have shampoo either. Good thing I had an extra in my bag. Pillows were probably the worse I have experienced. We asked for a couple more and they were no better. We stayed here the day before a cruise departure because the pictures looked great and the price was good. Next cruise out if Galveston, we will pick a different place."

"We were not able to stay for the breakfast so I have nothing to report about that. The Front desk ladies were super friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself pretty much needs a complete overhaul. It is very outdated. The room was clean however. The hotel’s website makes the rooms look much nicer than they actually are. For the price you can’t ask for very much more."

"Overall was good. Staff was good; Very friendly & accommodating. Swimming pool & hot tub should have been out front — no view to see bay. FYI, although growth is good — construction of new water park was a sore eye to see bay. Not enough food choices. Good thing boardwalk closes at 10/9. The bang game was loud to have room by. "

"One of the worst experiences I've had in a long time... The guy at the front desk was rude and the rooms reeked a foul odor. When I was given another room, it smelled worst than the first one. It was an extend-a-stay for the wrong crowd which I wouldn't advise anyone with taste to book there.."
