"Property had a great view from the kitchen. Laundry on-site. House was very clean, kitchen well stocked. We usually bring the spices we like to cook with, but there were some provided. Only thing we had to buy for the kitchen was garbage bags and a sponge.Beds were comfortable, rooms had black out curtains.House is within walking distance to downtown and the ferry.We stopped at the Ale House for a few drinks and an appetizer, they were hosting bingo! The drinks were all amazing and the appetizers were really good!We stopped at The Filling Station to get a pizza to bring back to the house. Pizza was pretty good, atmosphere was laid back.We don't plan to return to this area again, but aren't disappointed with our stay!We gave three stars for communication due to the fact that we reached out to the host right after booking and well before our stay and never received a response. Also I received two messages from host asking for payment before due date, felt a little like badgering.. we usually just let it auto charge on the due date and don't worry about it. I haven't experienced this before with VRBO or AirBnB so I don't believe it was auto generated. We didn't hear from host after that until check in and check out instructions, which were very straight forward and easy to understand.Wifi instructions are on the fridge!"
