"What really made this hotel stand out was the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Every interaction was friendly and helpful, and they clearly take pride in making guests feel comfortable and well cared for. Their hospitality truly made the stay special. The room itself was spotless and very well equipped, showing the same level of care and attention. The hotel also has a small pool and convenient parking, which were nice touches. One of our favorite spots was the rooftop terrace. It has comfortable patio furniture and is the perfect place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine and enjoy the warm breeze. Overall, this hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay, but it’s the wonderful staff who really make it memorable. Their kindness and attentiveness are what set this place apart."

"Wonderful property, perfect for a week-long team retreat with 15 guests. Plenty of space to spread out and also areas to come together as a group. The local Samson Waters property management team (Marina and Jair) is super responsive and immediately addressed all requests. They also made several recommendations for us including activities, a caterer (Chef Ceci is awesome!), and baby furniture rental company. Great overall stay and experience!"

Secluded yet safe. with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent food in the onsite restaurant. Great for walking around, where birds, iguanas and even monkeys can be spotted. Impressive seiba trees. Artisan pottery souvenirs can be purchased directly from the artist. "

"Juan was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions or problems that we had. My family enjoyed the pool and how close we were to the ocean. Once a week a man would come to the beach side selling candy. He was a favorite of my girls. I loved the location. We saw very few people on the beach. The water was warm and shallow. Loved it!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The house is exactly as pictured. ...okay maybe not exactly, but I've rented enough beach houses to understand that it's impossible to avoid some wear and tear from the salt air. During the time we were there we were able to view both the sunrise and the sunsets from over the water. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and also being able to use the pool. We liked how close the house was to the heart of Progreso. The AC kept the bedrooms comfortable. Most of us felt that the beds were comfortable (a few mentioned the ones in the rear bedrooms were a bit harder?). The kitchen was decently equipped. A great value. I would love to go back!"
