"Clean room and superb staff with location in the heart of Vienna. Walked easily to opera, musikverein, cathedral and shopping. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Restaurant was fine, with staff helping us with great local referrals to eat. Easy uber and taxi pickups."

"Top marks to the staff on the 8th floor - very well looked after at breakfast, Perhaps to an Austrian five different colours of carrot for breakfast and a printed menu offering a variety of dishes, so long as you wanted eggs, is the norm...? The lack of clothes storage in the rooms wasn't helpful, and an explanation of the lighting system would have been useful; it appeared to be either "all on" or "all off"."

"Our stay was defined by a truly lovely staff who went above and beyond to rectify a difficult situation. While the property has some maintenance quirks, the team’s dedication to guest satisfaction was evident. We initially encountered a significant issue with a broken window that would not close. Because the air conditioning system is designed to operate only when windows are sealed, the room temperature rose quickly. It is worth noting that some rooms may show signs of wear. For instance, we noticed dust on the bedside phones however, the essential comforts were well-maintained, with fresh linens and very comfortable beds. The highlight of our experience was the front desk team. When the window issue arose, three staff members worked late into the night to resolve it. After it became clear the original room was not viable, the team stepped up. We were moved to a beautiful room with a functional terrace and excellent air conditioning, which much more closely reflected the high-end photos seen online. The staff’s ability to handle issues with grace and generosity makes all the difference."

"Breakfast was FANTASIC!"

"The room was large and clean, with a good sized separate bathroom and WC. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Housekeeping were good. Decor was basic. The coffee facilities in the room were only instant coffee sachets and a kettle, which was slightly disappointing. However, breakfast in the dining room was pretty good - a wide choice, regularly refreshed. There were proper coffee machines making decent coffee, although only two of them, so queues would develop. We used the sauna room, which was fairly small and the temperature of the dry sauna was insanely hot (100 degrees +), but this did seem to be reduced after we mentioned this. The hotel bar served a very basic dinner, which I wouldn't strongly recommend unless you really can't be bothered to go out. There are some reasonable restaurants nearby. The rooftop restaurant mentioned in the hotel brochure is not operating anymore, it seems. The location of the hotel is ok, but a good 30 minute walk into the centre of town. A U-bahn is nearby. The area it is in has a nice botanic garden and is near the Belvedere palace, but is otherwise fairly uninteresting - not somewhere you would seek out to visit apart from the garden and palace. Overall the hotel was reasonable, unpretentious but a little bit out of date and lacking in character. For one of the cheaper places to stay, it was reasonable value. Somewhere to stay if you are looking for somewhere functional and inexpensive."

"Positives: Location was good, close to Belvedere Palace, train station and great public transport links that are very quick into the centre. Room was large and spacious with a desk and table to woe from. Negatives: The check in was slow and there were long lines and waiting times. This could easily be resolved with more staffing or sharing check in links in advance, so crazy they have done nothing about it. No facility for making coffee in-room. To me this is a basic essential found in most accommodation across Europe. The fact I have paid for a studio with a kitchen, then at a minimum I expect to be able to make a cups of coffee. There was even a dishwasher and a microwave, and yet no coffee machine, or cafetière/french press. It’s a big miss for me as it’s such a basic and convenient item. Also not impressed that I had to argue the case at reception to then borrow a French press! Otherwise you should pay 25 euros for a kitchen box! "
