"Exceptionally tranquil and relaxing villa in the Tuscan hills. No highway noise or downtown party noise, just a constant mild breeze filled with the songs of a variety of birds. Close enough to downtown Florence to see all the sights, either via the free hotel shuttle or by 30-minute walk if you don’t mind the incline (or the heat, it gets pretty warm and humid). "Emmanuel and Laura were so very helpful. All staff were extremely attentive to our needs. My husband is handicapped and everyone was so kind. Just be sure to leave a room key in the electric slot in the room. The air conditioning cuts off and the room gets very hot. They provided us a fan!"

"Good hotel. Breakfast was good. Room also good for europe standard: big enough. Location is good. They have a new bar and front desk was advertising it with discount on first drink. However, when you go to the bar, it was pretty clear that this was a new endeavor for them. There were 3 group of people in bar in total and everyone in staff seemed overwhelmed with that. After waiting for 10 mins without being addressed, walked out and still no one asked what is up. Minus the bar, hotel is great....

"The building is very old and needs some renovations. Very noisy. 38 minute walk into the town. Good area for a walk/run. A couple of restaurants very close which was convenient. Apparently there is a bus stop nearby but neither receptionists could tell me where it was located. Staff not very friendly. I would stay in the town on my next visit to Florence."
