"We were a family of 4 staying overnight before our flights the following day. It’s fine for somewhere to get your head down but nothing more. The place is dated and drab. The room smelt a bit when we first went in and the kids had to sleep on mattresses on the floor!! We could hear every footstep upstairs guests made which isn’t fun when you’re trying to get asleep after midnight. The door in the hall knocked with the wind so I could also hear that through the night. The breakfast option was okay if you are happy with a warmed up sausage and bacon bun. You can go next door and pay for breakfast in the restaurant. Like I say, it’s totally basic and okay if you just need anywhere to get your head down. If you don’t mind chipped walls and your kids sleeping on the floor then you will be fine! "

"We arrived at approximately 9pm, slightly later than advised. Although the front door was locked, the manager (I assume) was still there, cleaning. He let us in when I telephoned and kindly carried our case up to the room. The room itself was clean, fresh, well equipped. However, the room was extremely cold on arrival. We were told that the heating would be turned on, but unfortunately the radiator remained cold throughout the entire night. As a result, the room never warmed up. Due to the lack of heating, we were extremely cold and unable to sleep so we packed up and left before 7am, having effectively been unable to make use of the accommodation. While the room itself was of good quality, the failure of the heating meant our stay fell well below a reasonable standard, and represents a disappointing service failure. This was raised with the property but they refused to acknowledge there was an issue. "

"Breakfast has a great variety to suit all including healthy options which I usually find difficult, so I was very impressed. The quality of the food is excellent overall and the staff are very helpful. Coupe not fault the service. I did not give 5 stars because I would have dusted the bedroom better myself. Yes I am fussy, so I expect a hotel room to be as clean as my home when I pay for it. "

"This hotel is very cheap, so I didn't expect much. Free parking, but tight to get to behind hotel. Room was tired, in need of decoration. Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet. Can't complain for £47."

"The bed was the only thing clean. Even at the price I paid, I think it should've even been more reduced. The sink puts out yellow water at first. The shower and toilet were in rough shape. My door was hard to open. I had to fight to push it against the elevated carpet every-time. "
