"Greeted very pleasantly by the staff in the bar as the reception daesk had closed by the time we arrived. Told where we could park on site and found a place right outside our groundfloor room. The room was very clean. There was a fan working trying to keep it cool. We eventually worked out that both the washbasin taps and the shower controls were labelled incorrectly. Hot was cold and vice versa on both! Breakfast was served very efficiently after staff had gone out of their way to find a table out of the sun for us. Cooked breakfast was included in our deal but there was also a choice of cereals, fruit and yoghurt, pasries and bread etc. We asked if we could leave the car for a short while in their car park after we checked out at 10am to explore Chipping Campden, which was granted for up to an hour."

"Orchard Hideaway is a gem. The apartment was beautiful, clean and offered easy access to all the shops and dining. Hiking on the Cotswold Way was incredible, and the apartment a wonderful place to relax. Maggie was responsive and helpful."

"The location could not be better - meters from the Main Street but very peaceful. Car parking was simple The cottage was basically furnished but well equipped and spotless We would gladly stay again It would benefit from blackout curtains for summer stays"

"Our stay was ok. Delicious breakfast. Great location but we have a couple gripes; the noise from the restaurant cleanup once that closed. It’s easy to forget guests may be trying to get sleep when the restaurant crew are trying to cleanup and get home. Just was a little noisy. The bigger issue was the neighbors automatic lights kept going on and off all night lighting our room up off and on all night. That should to be addressed somehow by the owners of this B&B."

"This was such a lovely place to stay during our trip to the Cotswolds for a wedding. It was just my husband and me, but after several days in small hotel rooms, this property was a treat. We loved the fact that we could walk to Chipping Campden--and what a gorgeous town it is! The home itself set up perfectly and had everything we needed. The owners were kind and attentive but not ever-present; there is a nice separation between the cottage and the main house where they live. Since we did not have a car, we arranged taxis to get to other destinations as well as the wedding; had a great experience with Broadway Taxis. Shout out to our host, Helen, for shipping my husband's wallet to us after he lost it in the house (it had fallen in a kitchen drawer). Highly recommend!!!!!!"
Buckthorn Cottage Chipping Campden

"What a wonderful base for a holiday in the Cotswolds. Firstly the property manager, Ali, who could not have been more helpful. Advising we arrived at Heathrow at 7am and could we have earlier access she wrote come straight here! Only later did she realise that we may be there at 10 did she ask what time we might arrive. I appreciated her kindness and said midday . We arrived at 1pm, parked in our designated spot (ours for the duration) and went inside to find everything neat, clean and welcoming (particularly the cake and milk). From this comfortable, well appointed, home we toured, walked and relaxed. The Noel Arms is so close that hot chips were still too hot to eat when we brought them to eat in the small but secluded garden. The narrow steep staircase is not a problem and the ceiling is anything but low. I am elderly and still over 6feet tall but had no problem. The bathroom was not an English bathroom of old with intermittent hot water and indifferent drainage The shower, with plentiful water, came from above your head. It is tempting to give a rotten review so that we can come again easily in the future; that would be unfair but we do intend to do so. Don’t tell your friends until you have secured your booking."
