"The best thing going for this hotel is the location beside the train station making it easy if you arrive by train as we did (and had a hire car to pick up the next day from Hertz behind the station - a 15 min walk). You can walk to the city centre in about 20 - 30 min or catch one of the frequent busses. The staff appear to be mainly students and we had a bit of a wait checking in as one staff member appeared to be in training (but this was not signalled to us in any way). The room was very small (which we knew), in average condition, and the bathroom was most odd - very clinical, minimalist, with a hospital bathroom vibe. For the price paid, the room and service received was expensive. Not highly recommended."

"We have stayed here many times whilst our son has been at the University. Whilst it is a 15 minute walk into the City, the combination of on site parking, great restaurant, bar, pool and gym plus the variety of room types keep us coming back. Will be back again soon."

"Highly recomended these converted stables with a modern revamp. Room and bathroom were lovely and clean aside from an odd cobweb. Parking was perfect directly outside our accommodation. Rooms are oppopsite the bar and restaurant. The inn has lots of character and history. Only saw one member of staff the whole time who was quiet but helpful. Not having a reception area meant sometimes he was hard to find. Daily housekeepibg with drink sachets refilled. Our room also had a fridge in the wardrobe. We had a radiator so easy to keep warm if needed. Theres a play area on site and outdoor seating will be nice in the summer. Perfect loalcation to expore cambridge. Much quieter than the city with 3 other pubs near by as well as a country park, close to park and ride - 15 min walk and £3 bus or £13 for a taxi to central Cambrige."

"This property had received a terrible review about two weeks before our planned stay. We had booked in November and the one review was good then. I finally heard from the owner at 10 am on the morning of our stay with directions and key code. Communication was by WhatsApp not email. We arrived and the parking was on the street around the corner. When we arrived the heat was not working but the owner arrived quickly to rectify that. WIFI only worked on the second floor. Very basic ammenities. Nice pub Haymakers on the corner."
