Great location - you’re still close to nice bars & restaurants but far enough away that it’s quiet & peaceful. Nice pool & no issues getting sun loungers. I loved how you have the option to jump in the sea/bay! Food was really nice. Staff were very friendly. Room was spacious & clean.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, they surprised us with a gift upon our arrival. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. The hotel's location was ideal, as it was very close to restaurants and places to relax. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered good views.

Pros: Great staff, nice pool and good location that is walkable to plenty of restaurants and bars. Cons: Absolutely disgusting room with molding rotting door due to water damage with chunks of rotted wood strewn around the bathroom floor. The A/C did not go above 80 degrees and the smell of the room was pretty funky.

Great location, with easy access to the sea. Friendly staff and large rooms and beds. The hotel was undergoing refurbishment and there was a lot of amenities that could work better (shower, aircon, lift). The breakfast had a lot of variety but it didn’t feel of great quality.

The first room I was given the ac didn’t work very well. I spoke to reception and I was upgraded to a slightly bigger room and the ac worked a little better. However, I would say I don’t think it’s a proper ac system it was more like a vent. Apart from that the room was okay and we had a nice view. The breakfast was great with a variety of food my children.

We stayed in Hotel Cavalieri at the end of August. The best feature about the hotel was it's waterfront location where you could swim in the sea inside property buoy area. This was a life saver as there was a heatwave and air conditioning in the hotel was minimal, we had to change rooms to one with slightly better ac ( temps got down to 80° so could sleep without sweating) Our bathroom door was rotted at the base. Some haphazard repairs were being done around the hotel eg at elevator area the control buttons were taped to the wall with sellotape. It seems like the owner is trying to do minimal repairs on the cheap. The cafeteria breakfast area seemed more like a school cafeteria. The food from the restaurant seems to be reasonably good quality. Im not sure what defines a four star hotel but I know I've stayed in many 3 stars that were better. On a positive note the staff were very good and helpful but they were dealing with factors out of their control.
