"Lovely, quiet accommodation. Beautifully presented."

"Comfy easy access room with walk-in shower, very helpful staff. Surprisingly quiet given it was Eater Saturday night. EV charger parking spot was occupied for many hours by a non-electric vehicle and the adjacent spot occupied by an EV which was not on charge. Staff said they were not responsible for its use."

"Wonderful stay with friendly and helpful Lyndsey. Easy to find, safe on site parking, slightly tricky to exit, maybe a trim of the clematis might help :- Super family room, very clean carpet, felt like new. Sofa to allow tv watching which is great. Plenty of mugs, tea, coffee all high quality items. Fridge and microwave in our room. Bed comfortable with cared for and clean linens. Breakfast superb - choices of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurt, fruit, cooked breakfast - all excellent quality and cooked with care. I had mentioned that I’m dairy free and this was catered for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the local area. Standen and Wakehurst should you enjoy history, gardening and nature. Highly recommend and we look forward to revisiting. "Good hotel and comfortable bed. Had cancel the second night as the hotel was closed. Access for an 81 year old was very difficult. Lots of stairs to manage. The very cold weather made it even more difficult. The manager was very good and helpful. We hope to get a refund for the second night. The location was excellent and the pub was very quirky and quite special. "

"The property was exactly as described. We wanted a holiday deep in the countryside with lots of gardens and National Trust properties to visit. The WiFi was fine in the house but a bit iffy in the area. Not the hosts fault!My only criticism would be that the mattress was a bit too soft for my comfort and that the kitchen could do with more implements. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful week at Ridge Hill Manor together with our greater family. The house and garden are beautiful, and there are lovely dog walks from the house in all directions. East Grinstead is only a few minutes drive away, yet the location feels very rural. Conveniently situated for days out at places like Standen House, Chartwell and Glyndebourne. Pete was very helpful and communication easy. The only things we missed were a history of the house (which we got via WhatsApp after asking) and maybe a few more kitchen utensils (like for example a water jug). We would all love to come back!"
