"We loved the little studio cabin for our family of three for a few nights before we headed to Hana. Great jumping off spot for doing the sunrise at the mountain as well, was the closest I could find not in the park at a reasonable price. Bathroom is in a separate building that you have to walk to, but we never had to wait. My son had never stayed in a hostle style property before, and it was a great first experience. Beautiful views, and very kind hosts. Would definitely say again."

"Nice room, smallish like most rooms on Maui. Cute outdoor seating area with lots of plants and trees for shade. The downside is parking, very narrow and hard to turn around. Thankfully we had a smaller car and could manage."

"Everything was exactly as advertised. Wonderful base for exploring the entire island. Well-stocked with beach towels, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. Washer/dryer perfect. Only downside was tiny—AC was an industrial window-type unit in main living area, which kept main living area nice and cool, but left bedrooms warmer. Highly recommend and would stay again!"

"Fara's place is truly a gem. We have stayed in similar condos on Maui and other islands and Fara's was by far the nicest, cleanest, and with the easiest access to parking, laundry, and pool. We would definitely stay there again. We loved the layout of the condo, the comfy bed, the nice shower, the AC, the full kitchen and the pool."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this location for a family of four. Location was great. It was in a couple miles down from the main area of Kīhei. The evenings and days were calm and quiet. Pool area and grill area was close and convenient. Had new beach chairs and umbrella which was nice. I even left all my shirts behind somehow and they shipped them back to me. Would stay here again."
Island Sunset Villa: Your Maui Escape with Ocean & Stunning Sunsets Views

"We (3 50'ish siblings and our 88 year old mother) were looking for something other than a condo-farm to stay in on Maui and this house was perfect for that. The sunset views were amazing--you could see down to the ocean on the western side of the house and all the way up to the observatory on Haleakala behind the house. The yard was full of fruit trees--there were goats next door but you could barely see any other houses around. It was wonderfully isolated and quiet.Everything was clean and in working order--as other reviews have said, there are several small steps up/down getting around the house and master bedroom.We were able to use beach towels, cooler, etc. on our day trips.The host met us at checkin to show us around the house and was nearby for any concerns or missing items with a fast response time.Air conditioning was in bedrooms only so the common areas were warmer mid-day (but you could open up several sliding doors to create a pleasant cross-breeze to keep things cooler). We all enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings at the end of long days of exploring.Groceries/restaurants were about a 10-15 minute drive away so convenient.We also enjoyed the location for quicker access to the road to Hana and to Haleakala, while not being too far from beaches/ocean activities."

"We loved the three resident cats on the property and the whispering pine trees with hammocks. A very serene and peaceful place with nice breakfast buffet and real chill vibes. Cool wildlife too - geckos, anoles, toads, snails, and birds. Overall a lovely place. Best of all ... The staff was nice, helpful, and just all around great folks."
