"Lovely clean hotel, staff friendly, lovely roof top pool area with bar, that does snacks, ask at reception for towel to use at pool. Great location main bus depo 8mins walk. Bus from Arrecife airport 10mins to depo. and €1.40. Stayed half board, very happy with choice for food, food was good. LargeTV with access to netflix. Gym on roof top as well, didnt use. Open mall 25mins walk away."

Hostal San Gines gets an A+++ for diligent Heath&Safety standards, fire escapes and smoke detection well maintained, rooms in spotless Hygiene condition. "We have just returned from our new year break at the hotel which was booked last minute. On arrival we were offered any drink whilst we had our booking checked and the staff were super friendly. Our room wasn’t ready as we arrived earlier than check in time but we used the hour to familiarise ourselves with the hotel and the local area. We booked a sea view suite which was marvellous though did ask for robes, tissues and iron and ironing board which were brought up to the room straight way. We had booked on a B and B basis but as we were staying over New Year the gala dinner on NYE was included and was amazing . Nati and the team were fantastic and so accommodating and friendly, they really work hard at ensuring the guests have a great time and are fed well! The entertainment on NYE was fun . We loved the saxophonist, flame dancer who was also the compare and great and the ABBA ladies who had everyone up dancing! The atmosphere was wonderful. The pools were pretty chilly despite two being heated but we didn’t mind. Invigorating is the word! Plenty of sun loungers and the place was never crowded just as we like it. We had gone to chill out and regroup ready for 2026 and the place is perfect for this. It is not for those looking for nightly rowdy entertainment nor big loud groups. There isn’t any music around the pool areas during the day which was fine for us as we listened to our own via headphones. The hotel is immaculate. We loved our stay and will return! Thank you "

"We had a nice basic room with Mountain View.The food was very good for us,they served a wide range of food items.The pool area was very nice and the spa good for colder days. The entertainment was enough for us .It is a large basic hotel good value for what we paid."
