"This hotel is located very near to the Taipei Main Station as well as next to a great shopping mall with a great food market on the B3 level. Finding the hotel was a challenge coming out of the AirPort Express. You can easily get stuck in the underground streets and get lost. Best to get outside and use Google Maps. They have a great breakfast buffet, but very pricey in Taipei standards."

"This nice hotel is under major remodeling and restoration. There were only two chairs in the lobby. We were so tired that we couldn't even sit down to rest. We went out for a walk and came back at 2:00 pm, but we still couldn't get into our room earlier. The lobby where we used to have breakfast was also under renovation. We hope it will resume normal operations soon. We stay at this hotel every year when we go back to Taiwan."

"Great location and a comfortable stay whether for one night or many. I've stayed here before and really enjoyed the property and the staff. Having stayed several days once in January, I decided to stay again for a one-night trip on my way to the US. The staff is well informed and tells you everything upfront in terms of late check outs, breakfast and everything else. I took a chance and did ask if I could check out late by one hour but was told I'd have to pay for the extra hour -- granted, they did tell me this when I checked in but I've had other properties around the world break the rules, especially for a return guest. That said, for all I know they're fully booked and needed the room so I won't hold it against them. Another big plus, two free bottles of water in the room and there are more bottles in the lobby if you need more (also free). Love that! Yes, I will stay here again on my next trip to Taipei. If you're going to be bouncing around Taipei by the great MRT system, the Dongmen station is just a few steps away from the hotel so you can't beat it."
