"Check-in and check-out was nice and friendly. Breakfast had a great assortment of food for the 3 days there. However there wasn’t a free table of coffee in the lobby like Hampton’s in USA , and there isn’t a microwave or small refrigerator or wash cloth but this is the European experience. 😃. There is a grocery store across the street which was very convenient, and close to S-bahn train and tram."

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn Munich East. It is close to the train station, so there is easy transportation via trams, trains, subway or buses. Even with the sidewalk under construction in the area, we had no problem rolling our suitcases. The breakfast is extensive, fresh, well-maintained with friendly, attentive staff. The options did not change from day to day, but there were enough choices to give variety. The daily honeycomb was an unexpected treat! It was also nice to have 24/7 acre access to filtered water to fill our bottles and unlimited tea, coffee and delicious hot cocoa. We took advantage of the large communal areas in the lobby and ate there after grabbing a pizza at L’angolo Della Pizza just down the block. (Authentic Italian pizza) The rooms are very spacious and include a full kitchen. It was so nice to have a comfortable sitting area to read or wind down in the evening. There is also a small but adequate fitness room that we used multiple times. The staff were wonderful. All spoke multiple languages and were so helpful and kind with whatever we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel for short or even extended stays."

"There was an issue with water supply which I was not made aware of at check-in. So in the middle of having a shower having arrived at the hotel after midnight, I suffered 3rd° burn when the cold water supply ran out. The check-in after midnight tinted my stay at the hotel staff member was less than helpful or enthusiastic. Appreciate it was late at night but it’s still a very tired traveller coming into a five star hotel and expected the standard to be five star. When I was asked a check out how my day was I did explain the above and got no apology or any gesture from the morning staff. I stayed at this hotel a few years back on a trip to Munich and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful at the time. I judged my experience this time against that bar."

"The staff at Adina were very nice and tried to accommodate us, however for the price were very far away from the city center and any places worth exploring and seeing. In order to get to old town or anywhere we would have had to take a taxi or Uber. There was quite a bit of construction that also made it hard to get to the Adina from the train station and to get around the city easily. For the most part the groom was clean, however, we did find an engorged tick in our room. We ended up moving hotels because of the amount of inconveniences."
