"Absolutely brilliant staff! Thank you. Very clean, beautiful location and during the heatwave, the buildings were cool! Just noise from the nearby road disturbed the tranquillity at times."

"A great size house for a large group, there was nine of us and there was still plenty of room for more. The house has a very well equipped kitchen if you choose to cook but also there are many places to eat in the area. The youngsters of the group were kept suitably amused with table tennis, pool and the many board games and puzzles. We were just disappointed that we hadn’t got time to stay longer. 100% will be returning."

"Lovely little cottage in the country side with plenty of footpaths and walks right on your doorstep. Lots of wildlife in the area. A wonderful garden to spend the evenings in watching House Sparrow, Goldfinch, Bullfinch and one evening a Hummingbird Hawk-moth, and a night you could even hear distant calls of Nightjar in the valley.Arriving at the start of the latest heatwave even though it was 35 deg the house was still cool considering.The host was around if we needed (we didn't, as everything you needed was already there)."

"The Boathouse was fabulous very clean, comfortable and well equipped for our 3 night stay. My 2 grandsons enjoyed the big garden with the trampoline, swings and football nets but were disappointed that the advertised games room was not available nor the ‘hot tub’, which was prominently displayed in the description. Although the Boathouse was self contained you did need to walk through the hosts outside space to get to the accommodation, this was not an issue but would have preferred it separated. The host was responsive to a battery alarm that started late evening unfortunately could not be fixed until the following day.That said the location is fantastic just a 3 minute stroll down the short hill to the beach which is used by the local paddle board/ kayak club. It’s a short drive to a Co-op and centre of Poole making it a great base to explore Dorset."

"We got a very warm welcome and the hotel is characterful. All the staff were helpful. The food was very good and the breakfast was very enjoyable with quality ingredients. The only thing we didn’t like was that we booked two rooms, one being a twin and of a higher standard than the double. We were offered two of the same lower grade rooms. We were eventually given the second better room which was lovely, but if it hadn’t been available we would have been paying a premium for the lower standard room. Apparently it was something to do with having booked through Expedia??? The amount she had on the system showed that we had paid less than we actually had. I could prove this as I had the email confirmations. an explanation would be welcome ."
