"Stayed at the Hyatt a couple of times previously. The location, the rooms, the mini bar amenities, the champagne welcome are all difficult to beat. What was disappointing on this occasion was the Writers Room Rooftop Bar. Met at the front by a frosty receptionist who asked if we had a reservation. Made us wait outside for 5 minutes while they checked if there was a table. Went inside and the place was barely even full on a Sunday. Seating at the bar and empty tables in and out. The service was very slow. My glass of wine showed up and my friend had to wait fifteen minutes for her cocktail, despite multiple requests. All we had was a lady repeatedly apologizing and a male server saying it was in God’s hands. We subsequently moved to the bar hoping for a quicker response, only to be received by an extremely exasperated bartender at the end of his shift. A curt and rude “do you want anything?” followed. I’ve been there many times and never experienced this level of service. Again, the hotel itself is impeccable but that did dull the experience."

"It’s hard to figure if it’s not well maintained or clean because it’s dated or actually not well maintained. Location, size and beds were great (my wife loved the pillows) breakfast was good but things ran out too quickly as there wasn’t enough. Other than the dated decor it is a great hotel."

"Rapport Qualité/Prix assez décevant pour les raisons suivantes: - l'accès au balcon était inaccessible pour des raison ''sécuritaire" d'après le personnel de l'hotel - air climatisé en mauvais état, trèes bruyant et la ventilation dans la chambre ne fonctionnait pas - Frigidaire chaud en arrivant dans le logement - Fenêtres non fonctionnelle (manivelles cassées) impossible d'aérer Dommage car avec un peu plus d'attention et de petits travaux le logement aurait été parfait."
