"We were amazed with the condition of this 100-year-old property! The functional areas are beautifully and tastefully restored and the traditional areas are perfectly maintained. All staff members were extremely friendly and professional, and they were eager to assist in every request. Front office staff, maid service, baggage handlers, restaurant staff were all exceptional. Our stay could not have been better, unless it had been much longer!!"

"This property was a unique combination of old and new. The location in "old" Williamsburg helped us to feel like we were back in time. The property itself had great bones and was as clean as daily housekeeping could keep it. The rooms are tired however, needing carpets cleaned, furniture changed and repaired and fresh paint on the inside. Loved the vintage feel, just fine to freshen it up. The AC was great, deck and views were beautiful and the beds comfortable. Easy access because we were on the main floor and the check in process at the Williamsburg Inn was refined and made me feel very welcome!"

"Location was fine. Front desk people were fine. Room was big, it had working ac, bathroom clean and bed okay. Room very run down. Ac enclosed by drywall and unfinished wood. The closet did not have a bar to hang cloths, bathroom towel rack was gone and sofa looked dirty. It worked for one night but we would not go back. Breakfast minimal but helped us to have something before we were on the road."

"It was a nice place overall, we booked a king size room but when they gave me they keys they didn't work. They then put me in a double queen room which honestly was probably better for the fact they only give you 3 pillows per bed even the kings so my wife and I actually got 3 a piece so that was nice. I loved the fact the rooms all have a old screen door and a bench outside of the room. The bathroom definitely could have used some improvements, my shower didn't have a shower rod it was in pieces in the window sill and the tile was all cracked up along the wall. The shower was hard to get hot water just right so it was either hot or luke warm water. It could have been cleaned better as well my wife went to open the "new soap" with her teeth and an old used bar fell out the other side. The room had a window unit AC so it was hard to keep the room a specific temperature. It was an overall pleasant experience given the issue we faced and my wife said she would definitely like to stay again."

"Our room was in one of the guest houses far from the main building, and on the second floor. There was no luggage cart and we took 2 trips down to the garage. The receptionist said nothing about that. No overhead lights in the room so it was very dark. Only 1 knob to hang bath towels so it encouraged guests to use the towels only once. What’s wrong with hotel designers?"
