"We arrived quite late, around 9:30pm, but check-in was quick and easy. Every member of staff we encountered was incredibly polite and welcoming, and the hotel itself was absolutely spotless. The spa was still open for another half an hour when we arrived, so we made the most of that, which was lovely! My only real disappointment was the spa access restrictions, which weren’t made particularly clear when booking through Expedia. Hotel guests can only use the spa facilities between 7am–10am and 5pm–10pm. Outside these hours, access is reserved for guests who have booked and paid for additional spa experiences. The outdoor heated pool is also only available to hotel guests between 5pm and 6pm, just one hour a day! Unfortunately, with our late arrival and 11am checkout, we didn’t get the opportunity to enjoy this facility, which was a shame. The food looked lovely, although we decided against breakfast as it was £20 per person, which I personally feel is rather expensive. Aside from these minor disappointments, I genuinely couldn’t fault the hotel. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return! Next time, knowing how the spa operates, I’d probably book a spa experience and treatment in advance to make the most of the facilities. Overall, a beautiful, spotless hotel with wonderful staff. Just wish the spa restrictions had been clearer at the time of booking!"

"We stayed in this beautiful farmhouse for my 50th birthday get together. The hosts really have thought of everything. Cold sitting outside? The hosts have provided blankets, towels for the hot tub are stacked in the boot room nearest to the hot tub. Children attending are fantastically catered for with a range of indoor and outdoor games (we packed some but didn't need them). Holiday reads are neatly stacked if you forget your book, there's a doll's house for younger children. Outside there is a play kitchen, play house, trampoline, toy cars, balls. Honestly, don't worry if you forget anything. There is also a lovely little outside toilet for those wanting to stay outdoors. The outside lights are clearly and helpfully labelled. The kitchen is well stocked with all essential cookware for entertaining a crowd of people. Ample crockery, bakeware (pizza trays), serving dishes for party food and a huge dishwasher for the clean up operation. The beds are comfortable and the bedding is snuggly, each bed had its own towel bale. The house is set up in every way to be accommodating, way beyond the basics. The location is absolutely beautiful, high up in the Welsh mountains with panoramic views of open farmland, the secluded peacefulness made it hard to believe we were less than ten minutes from a supermarket! 10/10 from us, would highly recommend to anyone. This is the best holiday rental I have stayed in, amazing and thoughtful hosts, superb location and a lovely, lovely farmhouse."

"What an amazing Place. Amazing Hosts. Beautiful Scenery and Loads of horses around the property which my children loved. Elsa and her husband were incredible and so welcoming and genuinely nice people and checked wverything was OK for us and left us enjoy our time. The Cottage had lovely grounds and a lovely well kept secure garden for the dogs. The family are lovely. One of my dogs had a incident we had to nip out and left them briefly alone in cottage (we broke the rules) but he knocked the bedroom door closed and panicked as his mum was in the other room he chewed by the door frame and windows skirting boards in panic trying to get out and did damage and also damaged the blind I was mortified and offered to pay damages. The family were very understanding and I could not believe how amazing they were. The cottage has everything you need it is very well equipped and everything is well maintained and functional. We did not want to come home. It is a beautiful place. The only down side is when coming off the main road coming over the 1st cattlegrid you need to go over it very slowly, the road has alot of pot holes and 3 cattle grids to get to property if u have a low car it would be difficult dodging the pot holes we found it rough in our volvo xc90 all wheel drive. The road they own is OK its the shared road thats difficult, Idon't think we would of got there in my car as mine is quite low. AMAZING Place to stay can not complain about anything really. AMAZING! ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️"

Little Cottage, Big Character! A great base for exploring South Wales

"The property was lovely, at the top of steep roads, so difficult to walk locally if you have a disability. The owner left us some milk in the fridge plus a packet of choc biscuits which were very much appreciated. The stairs are narrow & on a curve, so it was difficult getting the handluggage upstairs. The bedrooms & the beds are comfortable, but without mirrors to put on makeup or to check your outfit. The lounge is lovely, but would benefit from a lamp as there is no lighting in this area. There is a washing machine, but no airer. The garden has wooden decking & steps. It is a lovely luttle area with a Bistro table & 2 chairs. Overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay"
