"RUN AWAY- this lady is psycho! Her husband seems to bed kind and nice, but she is crazy. She would never answer the phone. Only text, until she called and cursed me out. I recorded it. The pool is not heated. The pontoon boat is broken and not usable. There is No paddle boat (there is a pedal boat). And while the AC might be new, it was also not working when we arrived (i had to fix it). This house is DISGUSTINGLY dirty. Poop splatter in the bathroom and toilet, dust and cobwebs on the vents and ceiling fans. Bugs everywhere. Flies, spiders, weird looking bugs. ZERO clean dishes, dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I had to wash every dish in order to use them. But first i had to go to the store and get something to wash them with. Host was begging me to stay longer because i was fixing the broken things, until i fell down the stairs and injured myself. They she called me a scammer and cursed me out. But, at least she responded. She did not respond to my request for cleaning supplies, just told me to go to the store for towels. Later, i found out she calls the towel closet a store...smh "for store of towel only".Like i said... RUNOh, they do have cameras. They are visible and recording. I can't believe VRBO ALLOWS THIS! . "

"My family if 6, 4 adults and two grandchildren came to AZ to visit Great Grandma. This place was 25 min from her so we chose it and also because it could accommodate all of us and it was geared towards the kids also. And it worked out perfectly. Plenty of clean living space and bedrooms for us all. The kids loved the pool, ping ball machines and paddle boats. We adults loved the view of the beautiful water, the quietness, the large dinner tables and spaciousness. It was a wonderful place for all of us. We would return"

"The host was wonderful, excellent communication, and very accommodating. She handled our early check‑in request quickly and kept us updated throughout our stay. The location of this property and the surrounding community is truly outstanding, and the home is beautifully decorated and well-equipped. We also loved the pool table, game room, the large and beautiful pool, and the fantastic putting green. The outdoor seating areas were perfect for relaxing in the sun. It seems that the property was likely exceptional when it was first established, and with a bit of refreshing, it could easily return to that level. Some areas show signs of normal wear that can come with being a long‑term vacation rental. The exterior of the home, particularly the back side, could benefit from routine cleaning and pressure washing. The back patio has older outdoor carpeting and a faded rug that doesn’t quite match the otherwise lovely outdoor amenities. The dock felt like it might need an inspection, and the paddle boat had cobwebs and dirt. Inside the home, the carpeting in the dining area, hallways, and bedrooms felt a bit dated. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and very much appreciated the host’s responsiveness and hospitality."

"I am requesting a resolution, including a refund, due to multiple issues that made my VRBO stay unacceptable.The host was unaccommodating, lacked communication, and did not demonstrate the basic hospitality expected. One of my guests arrived 10–15 minutes early and was told to leave the property, which was unnecessary and unprofessional.At the scheduled 4:00 PM check-in, the home was still being cleaned, and I did not receive full access until approximately 4:10–4:15 PM. During this delay, my guests were forced to wait outside in 104-degree heat. Additionally, the air conditioning had not been turned on, leaving the home uncomfortably hot upon entry.The property was not properly prepared. The refrigerator still contained food and beverages, raising concerns about cleanliness and whether the home had been fully vacated.There were also safety concerns. The structure above the entrance appeared unstable, seemingly supported by a wire, and there was a visible leak in the kitchen covered with plastic. These conditions made us feel unsafe during our stay.Lastly, the listing was misleading. While the home is nice, the photos significantly exaggerate the property and inaccurately represent it as a “mansion.”Due to the delayed access, unsafe conditions, lack of preparation, and misrepresentation, this stay did not meet acceptable standards. I am requesting an appropriate refund based on these issues and more (review message exchanges in chat with host)"

"We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home. From booking to arrival, check-in, thoughtful follow-ups during our stay, and even departure—every detail was handled flawlessly. It was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional, and every detail felt so intentional and welcoming. And when they say the pool is heated—they mean it! We started our days with a morning dip, spent afternoons exploring, and returned to enjoy the pool and hot tub in the evenings.The backyard was absolutely beautiful. The fruit trees were such a special touch, and waking up to the birds in the morning made it feel peaceful and serene. Everything about this place was just lovely.This stay truly felt like a home away from home. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. "We were in Phoenix area for five days to visit my son at ASU and explore the area. I was there with my family of 6 and another family of close friends. This home proved to be absolutely ideal. It has everything you could ever want or need in terms of entertainment and amenities. The owner Don was in touch early and made himself completely available. He left very detailed and useful instructions for check-in, use of everything in the home, and check out. Don was very responsive to our every question and need.The home itself is beautiful and the cleaning was immaculate. It is literally right on the water and we really enjoyed the view of the lake and use of the pontoon boat. The boat was very easy to use and the instructions were very clear. We also made use of the pool, the outdoor spa/hot tub, the outdoor dining area with grill and television, the game room with a full-size pool table, etc.The kitchen is extremely well stocked, and the owners had even left us coffee and condiments, which was greatly appreciated. There was dish detergent, laundry detergent, and paper towels. All we had to buy was groceries.The set up of the home proved to be ideal for two separate families. Our family used the three upstairs bedrooms and our friends used the downstairs bedroom and pull out the couch in the living room. The split level bathrooms and bedroom set up allowed all of us to have privacy, while still enjoying the vast entertaining spaces together.Perfect for a large group! "

"Our family of 12 spent 4 nights at the house. It was wonderful. The children ages 4-11 especially loved the trampoline, playground, shuffleboard, pickleball court and basketball. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and playing with the children. The house and grounds are beautiful and there was plenty of room for everyone. "
