"I traveled alone and the hotel was a good combination of price and location. If I had to do it over again, I would pick a place a *bit* closer to the subway station (Asakusa) but that was an oversight on my part -- I should've done a bit more research. They even offered pajamas when I arrived, which I thought was a nice touch. Before I arrived, they reached out, explaining that they have a "sister" hotel that has a similar name but different location so be sure to note that it's Hotel Amanek...

"Our host Yoshi and the staff at Toe Library were incredibly welcoming, offering us tips around the neighborhood and, when we left, a bag of delicious Japanese cookies. The room itself was cozy, well-appointed, and full of personality—and we especially appreciated that because we happened to be there during a typhoon and spent a lot of time lounging there as we waited for the worst of the storm to pass. This is a completely unique stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo."

"The hotel was amazing and in a great location, got to experience alot of Asakusa and was fortunate to be there for the Samaba festival. And the staff was amazing also had some unfortunate family matters arise and had to make some changes regarding my trip and they were very helpful and understanding and very expedite with helping will gladly stay again"

"Staff was great, we arrived very late but check was still very quick and efficient. Our host quickly checked us in and showed us around the property and did a great job of explaining everything. Cleanliness in rooms and showers average, not the best but not the worst. And the various amenities and location made it a great place to stay."
