"Major item was the fact that we could not get the bathroom drain to close, so that my son could not take a bath. The woman from the front desk (the ONLY STAFFER ON DUTY) could not figure it out either. Evidently you have to stand on the plug and do a pirrhouette on it—I am not making this up, it’s an absolutely idiotic design. Eventually, she managed to get a housekeeping person on the phone and get the thing working. From the sounds of things, this is a recurring problem. Maybe they could fix it? I am not complaining about this woman. She did everything she could to help us out. But who on earth runs a hotel with only one person present on the property, on a night when the place is sold out? This is nuts. The outside entrance near our room had a quick and dirty sign posted on the door, informing guests that the door was malfunctioning and could only be used to exit the building. We used it to enter four different times, and it worked each time. I would call this bad attention to maintenance, and blatant understaffing."
