"I know this area well, having grown up down the street so I was excited to try this place our for a return trip to the area of my youth. It's a great location for the Upper Cape and convenient to the Cape Cod Canal and easy to get off-Cape for side trips or when you are ready to head home. for that reason alone, I would consider this location. Our room was clean, but had a strong smell we could not identify. The AC worked well, but it never got really hot while we were there. Everything in the room felt damp all the time and our towels never dried. We had a room with a kitchenette. The room did have extra space. The bathroom was pretty, nice, and large, probably the best part of the room experience overall. On the plus side, the breakfast provided was very nice (included ham and cheese, eggs, lots of options) and the staff was friendly. Parking was ample and the property was busy but quiet. This is a minor issue, but could be a major one for some people: Our Verizon cell phones got very poor service in the whole area of Sandwich and the hotel-provided free wi-fi worked sporadically and poorly at best. Don't count on it for work or for a Roku device. So, we felt "unplugged" for our time there. The property should either completely block off the defunct pool from sight or have it restored because it looks very sad in it's state of disrepair and gives a bad overall impression of general neglect. I might stay here again, but at a lower price."

Brand New Magnificent Oceanfront Home with Spectacular Views on Private Beach

"We had a wonderful time at this property and really enjoyed our stay. George is extremely responsive and was a pleasure to correspond with. There was a small issue with the lights on the top floor, as the breaker kept tripping, but it was a known issue to George and he has electrician’s working on it. Didn’t take away from our experience at all. It was our first extended stay in Sandwich and it was a lovely town."

"The property is charming like a colonial inn with modern amenities. It is right in the heart of Main Street Sandwich. The staff is pleasant and always willing to make suggestions for things to do. This time I applied for my rewards card to make points. The next time I come I will try the spa."
