"Great Staff, Great Experience. The amount of amenities and variety is great. With access to all areas of the resort, it is difficult to get bored. A couple of the a la cartes need improvement in the way they cook and season their food. All buffets were decent and the Tulum and Akumal buffets had a great selection of mexican food. The Sian Ka’an mexican selection was not as good and not as authentic, however, still very good . Rooms were very clean and staff were always upbeat, helpful and enjoyable. I can honestly say that there was not 1 bad nor mediocre staff member. Sargassum was not an issue, as there were enough pools and beaches that offset any small accumulations. Grounds were slightly neglected on the outskirts, and we could tell this was a cost cutting measure, but not something that detracted much from the experience. Smoking regulations need to be enforced better, especially in the jungle environment, where a bit of ash could cause a major fire. We are already looking at booking again."

"10/10 Experience at Secrets Tulum! 🌴 Secrets Tulum was easily one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at. My girlfriend and I spent four days here, and every single day was amazing — from the service and food to the drinks, entertainment, beach, and overall atmosphere. A huge shoutout to George at the Beach Club. He was incredible and helped us with everything, including setting up our beach bed and making sure we were comfortable. He was extremely kind and attentive. Christian, our waiter/bartender, was absolutely amazing. He brought us drinks, gave us great recommendations, talked with us, and made us feel right at home. I would honestly come back just to see Christian and George again! Another huge shoutout to Johnny, the event coordinator, and his entire team. The foam party was one of the best resort events I’ve ever experienced. Johnny even remembered our names and what we liked the next day. He also organized a volleyball event and did an amazing job bringing everyone together. One of the funniest moments was Johnny remembering my girlfriend’s favorite song, “La Chona,” and playing it during the foam party on her birthday. She absolutely loved it! Definitely participate in the resort events — the foam party, volleyball, bingo night, and everything else were so much fun. We met some amazing people and made great memories. The food and drinks were great, the bartenders were friendly and remembered our names, and the music and pool atmosphere were perfect for relax"

Akumal Bay Beach & Spa Resort All Inclusive

"Really appreciated Juan's guidance and suggestions on excursions. And Vivian who is part of the activities personnel did a great job with her talk on turtles. However, i do think some other staff need improved training on protecting the turtles from guests who should not be using flashlights at night looking for turtles. I reported another guest for doing this and nothing was done about it."

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal - Hyatt Inclusive Collection - All Inclusive

"We stayed for 7 nights at the Bahia Principe Explore Akumal, and it was a great experience me and my partner had in Mexico! The rooms are cleaned very well, the pools are excellent, and the buffets and beverages have lots of options to choose from. Service are also great, and the everyday activities are something to keep you engaged. The workers are also friendly and smiley which makes your day :) The all-inclusive dining are enough if you don’t have an ala carte dinner, though I would recommend you to have one. The dinner services and menu itself could have some improvements the but still good in general. Souvenirs wise, they are not as cost-effective though there are local stalls that you can bargain enough to get your price. I would definitely recommend that, but the quality of souvenirs on Bahia itself are better. Pool timing wise, the earlier the better to secure that perfect spot you wanted! There are wildlife animals in the whole resort which makes the experience more enjoyable. P.S: Use sunscreen all the time, it is REALLY HOT and burning if you didn’t (even for someone with naturally brown skin). I think that’s all I can say, and I hope you guys will or have enjoyed your vacation and stay as much as we did!"

"Our stay at Dreams Tulum was wonderful from start to finish. My fiancé and I had such a fun and relaxing time, and the staff made the experience even more special with their kindness, attentiveness, and amazing service. One of our favorite parts was wandering around the beautiful property together and spotting all the wildlife. The resort had such a peaceful, natural atmosphere that made every walk feel like an adventure. We truly loved our stay and can't wait to get married here!"

KAN Tulum Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"No think about it just book it. The staff and owner were great. They are expanding to make it even better. Underwater gym, sound healing classes and full spa coming in November. I will be retuning. This was my first time in Mexico and I made a great choice in starting at Kan Tulum. The grounds were even prettier in person. We rented e-bikes and got hurt and the staff once they heard were so concerned and attentive asking daily about our progress. This place was worth every penny."
