"A most excellent property and staff! Highly recommend - 5 ***** star rating. View of Fuji-San is amazing. Gardens and Koi pond are well maintained. Hourly Shuttle service to/from Kawaguchiko Station was very useful, 10 min away. Nabeya Japanese restaurant was delicious and only 3 min walk away."

"My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Wakakusa no Yado Maruei. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. My wife is pregnant, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate her dietary needs. They were incredibly understanding and helped us with food substitutions and adjustments so that she could comfortably enjoy our traditional Japanese meals. Their kindness and attention to detail meant so much to us and made the experience even more special. Everything about our stay was amazing, from the beautiful room and relaxing bath to the delicious food and exceptional hospitality. We felt truly cared for throughout our visit. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan, and we will remember it for years to come. Thank you to everyone at Maruei for making our stay so special. We would absolutely love to return someday!"
