"I only stayed one night before heading to another city, but I wish I could have stayed longer! The room was so big and spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also big and spacious and clean. The outdoor shower option was a treat! Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very nice and friendly. The infinity pool was lovely, not too big, but just fine for a dip. Many hammocks for relaxing under the trees. I will be back!"

"This was a beautiful unit a short drive from San Jose. The host offered us food and breakfast and messaged to check in if we were comfortable. We saw so many birds in the morning and evening. The pictures on the website don’t do justice to the amazing property. "

"Staying at Villa Vittoria was the best decision I made while in Costa Rica. The photos do not do the place justice, it is a hidden gem. The staff is incredible, kind and willing to help. "The house is old and needs lots of up keep. Walls are cracked and flaking. No hot water to bathroom sinks and maintaining a constant water temperature in the shower is impossible. There is no hot tub, the reference is to a bathtub, a language problem. Also, lighting in the bathroom is very bad. Push on lights were placed over the stove to give better light there as the kitchen is also dark. Walking into town takes about 10 mins and is an easy and nice walk. People very friendly. Dogs in the neighborhood bark a lot snd roosters crow at all hours. We did enjoy our stay. Bus service to San Jose is easy and cheap and a better way to go than driving oneself. The manager in the office below is exceptionally helpful. "
