"Cabin was clean and the pictures on VRBO were accurate.The foosball table was in poor shape -- but a new one in a box was already in house waiting to be setup.The views were very nice! Saw several deer and other wild animals driving up to the house. "

"Wonderful home and absolutely perfect for two couples. Beautiful view inside and out. Extremely clean and very comfortable beds. We had a lovely time hiking, shopping, dining out and visiting the Biltmore. Will definitely rent this beautiful home again. "

"Me & my fiancé stayed for 2 nights and I promise you it was not long enough. We loved every single thing about this place from the views and quietness, to the cozy and warm atmosphere inside. If you’re looking for a getaway or anniversary trip or even just some peace and quiet this is the spot. There are neighbors but everyone is so quiet we never saw them or heard them. "

"WARNING. I would have given this property 4 stars, the beds brought it down from 5. However, I am going to have to give it a 2. I admit that I did not read all the way to the bottom, and therefor did not see “4WD is required during winter months/snowy conditions”, and did not have it brought to my attention until I was past the cancel date. I would have canceled, but as it was, my son in law and both rented 4WD vehicles. 456 extra for me, I don’t know what he paid. As it turned out we did need them to get the 200 yards to the house. There was a heavy snow storm in TN and NC 2 days prior to our arrival. A local businessman told me that kind of storm is a once in 5 year event. No attempt was made to clear the drive in the week that we were there. "

"Pool table was broke and wobbly, one leg was held up by a 2x4. Very unsafe. For the amount paid you would expect much higher quality in basically everything, but that is not the case here. I have stayed at a lot of places in the area over the years and this one is by far the least appealing especially for the amount charged. Also, they don’t provide firewood and don’t make you aware of that in advance so that you can bring some requiring you to drive miles to find some."

"We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Everything was exactly how the listing said it would be. The host was great to communicate with, when we got there we had a question about the fire place and she answered immediately. It is about 30 minutes from Asheville, so you can go enjoy all Asheville has to offer, then come back to a very peaceful home. We would definitely recommend this home to friends and family. "

"We chose this property because of the location and because it is pet-friendly. Our dogs LOVED it - plenty of space to run around and explore, and they slept great each night. Lakeside Cabin is a great location for kids or big groups. The sauna, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, fire pit, and big decks are perfect for gathering. Also, the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay."
