"A lovely boutique hotel in the shadow of St. Stephen’s Cathedral. The staff were very helpful. There was a welcome bottle of wine and some macaroons in our room. The minibar was free and when we requested it be filled with soft drinks the hotel complied. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a unique style. The bathroom had a bidet/wc combined alongside a big shower enclosure and sink. I’d definitely stay at the hotel again. "

"Room was extremely hot and we were unable to open windows as the handles had been removed. Did not realise how suffocating and dark a courtyard view room would be so asked at reception if we could pay to upgrade to an outward facing room. We were told that they were all fully booked. However, I could see online that they weren't. I asked why we couldn't upgrade and they just said they were not available!!! I even took a picture showing that the rooms were still available. Asked if there was a fan but they said they didn't understand. The shower continuously went freezing to boiling. Fan in bathroom didn't work either which added to the heat intensity. Perfect if you want the bed in a corner against a wall and one of you wants to climb over the other if you want to get out. Someone randomly came in to service a towel raill whilst we were there which was also weird."

"I had a wonderful stay at SO/ Vienna. The hotel offers a high-level experience from start to finish, with excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were kind, helpful, and professional, and everything felt well organized and welcoming. The room service was great, the cleanliness was very good, and the hotel facilities and services made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is also perfect — central, convenient, and easy to get around from. Overall, I truly enjoyed everything about my stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!"
