"Staff very friendly and welcoming, always greeting you when you entered. Facilities are great especially for self-catering. Bathrooms clean. Rooms a little dated. Bunk beds very sturdy-not rickety or squeaky. Only negative I can think of is the bed sheets are too small for the beds so they come untucked very easily meaning I woke up often sleeping on the mattress instead of the sheet. Overall a great property, great location, good for parking too. Very hilly if you are walking though!"

Future Inn Bristol

2/10 Terrible

"Stayed at future inn easily over 10 times. This time was the worst experience I've ever had a hotel. Was given a accessible room for wheel chair users. I don't have a wheelchair but that's fine whatever, however the chair screwed to the wall for people who need it was the most manky thing I've ever seen all brown marks and rust... The shower curtains were grey and also stained and a big fat bug on it upon arrival which I killed and flushed away as I'm not someone who likes to complain There was a lot of missing grout between the tiles which was collecting all kinds of horrid stuff and grout also stained questionable colours... The bed sheet had a large black dab of something on the top sheet when we arrived which really made me question how that could pass any kind of inspection before a guest would arrive. Future inn used to be one of the nicest hotels you could get for a reasonable price but these days their average and I only still stay here when away because I know what to expect. That plan has not served me well this time and soured my relationship with the company. Why wouldn't I stay elsewhere next time? I have taken photos and didn't really know what to do as it was only a 1 night stay luckily, I still might complain because it's just not acceptable. Avoid."

"Poor signage to indicate location, lack of information about parking. Front doors broken. Additional bill items added at check in without warning, tax and £20 parking. Room smelled musty and dusty. Not surprising as windows don't open and no air conditioning. Weird carpet thing up one wall. Only one tea bag. Soap dispenser nailed to wall behind shower screen so tricky to access. Bath plug grimey. Mould around shower. Stains on carpet. On the plus side, the gentleman checking us in was friendly and upgraded us to a top floor room with a great view when he realised what a negative first impression we had had.. The lift worked. The bed was comfortable. Central location."

Mollie's Bristol

10/10 Excellent

"It was our first time staying at Mollie's Motel, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol, and we weren't disappointed. Our room was really spacious and clean, and huge, with a perfectly set out accessible shower room (the only thing that would improve it would be a shelf near the sink for toothbrushes and toothpaste etc). The room rate was excellent too. It was a bit different to other hotels not having a kettle in each room, but the (boiling) hot and cold drinking water taps on each floor were easy to use. The staff couldn't have been more kind and helpful, they explained everything fully, and took our reservations for evening meal and breakfast in Mollie's Diner a few yards away from the hotel. The Diner was clean and welcoming, and the food was excellent, and well priced. There is ample free parking, including Blue Badge spaces too. We highly recommend Mollie's Motel, and Diner, and will definietly book to say again when visiting Bristol."

Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel

4/10 Poor

"Upon arriving at the hotel and checking in at approximately 3:00pm, I was advised that my room was not yet ready. Whilst delays can happen, this was only the start of a very disappointing experience. I was also informed that the air conditioning was not working throughout the hotel. My room (1201) was extremely hot, and the window could not be opened, making the room very uncomfortable. I requested a fan on two separate occasions, however no fan was ever delivered. In addition, the shower in my room was not functioning correctly. The water was only running cold, and the shower head was spraying water over the shower screen and onto the bathroom floor, leaving the floor extremely wet and slippery, creating both an inconvenience and a potential safety concern. Furthermore, the electric vehicle charging provision was wholly inadequate. There were only two charging points available despite there being eight designated spaces, which added further frustration during my stay. Overall, this experience fell well below the standards I would expect from a luxury hotel. The combination of the lack of air conditioning, failure to provide the requested fan, defective shower facilities, and inadequate charging provision significantly impacted my stay and left me extremely disappointed."
