Long walk to ladies market 45 min - but did it multiple times and very interesting walk if you dont mind a few miles. Room overlooked bay had two bedrooms and a kitchen - was like an apartment. "Had a wonderful stay at the Hopewell. Stayed in the Family suite, with an adjoining room. Super spacious for a family of five, with an amazing cityscape view to boot! Staff was super helpful, taxi/UBER drop off area a BIT complex to new HK travelers but got better after the first couple tries. A great home base to go out and see all the beautiful sites of HK and even Macau. Thanks and we "HOPE" to come back again in the future!"

"I like to stay here on slightly longer trips because you get the bigger space and the little kitchen that can come in useful, especially the fridge and microwave. The situation is pretty quiet for Hong Kong, being up a small alleyway and away from the noise on Queens Road East. However, noise from other guests was irritating at times. You also need to know that there’s a very steep incline ramp to get up to the hotel from where a taxi will probably drop you, I really wouldn’t like to do it in business shoes in the wet. Wan Chai is a fascinating area, relatively a few western tourists make it here and the street market bustle can make progress through the streets a little slow, but I prefer it to The somewhat sterile malls of Central"
