"This place was so cute! A little inn tucked away at the eve of the Lijiang Ancient town. So well maintained by a family I think, and the complementary breakfast was so quaint and prepared by the managers mother I think. To get here you have to climb some steep olden times stairs, so if you do need help the staff are incredibly helpful here. The external doors are locked late but worth asking when as we had a wedding and had to wake the manager to let us in - we felt very sheepish after that!"

"We had an AMAZING time. We were so pleasantly surprised to learn this hotel is actually owned by the same family for over 100 years. It truly feels like you are staying with family. The Chinese breakfast was excellent (the baba was my favorite) - they also have Western style breakfast. Amy was so helpful in helping us make restaurant reservations, and great recommendations. We even did a free tea tasting and bought a lot of excellent tea. Truly a wonderful time, could not recommend it enough!...

"This is a very spacious place, the room is well decorated and staffs are very friendly. They even offer airport pickup and drop off for free. The breakfast selection is very limited but the food is exactly how you cook in a traditional Chinese way. We would come again if we ever visit Lijiang again."

Fresh air? Don't expect fresh air, as many hotel guests or people nearby are smoking. Since this hotel is not entirely smoke-free, you'll have to settle for air tinged with the smell of cigarettes.
