"The night I stayed the petrol station next to hotel was being refurbished. That meant jack hammers and floodlights throughout the night - the poor staff didnt know anything about it until they started and were very apologetic - staff were very good. Professional, welcoming, friendly and helpfull. However - the room I stayed in was a bit grubby (lights on side of bed showed how dusty the room and carpet were). "We pre-booked a non smoking Family room. On arrival the non smoking Family room we were given was not cleaned very satisfactory, they had no other rooms to offer other than a smoking room, which we had no choice but to accept. After pulling out The Bed Settee it was full of `glitter` (obviously not cleaned). The TV controller did not work and an electric bulb was missing from the dressing table. We complained and were given a small rebate. Would not book at this Hotel again."
